Product Orientation

This product is recommended for horizontal installation, though it can be installed vertically if site conditions are limited. Ensure that the arrow on the base indicates the direction of flow. Connect the media to the inlet and outlet ports accordingly.

Installation Steps

  1. Inspect the Flowmeter:

    • Ensure the flowmeter has no visible damage.
  2. Prepare the Pipes:

    • Connect and clean the pipes before installation.
  3. Install the Flowmeter:

    • Follow these steps for proper installation:

      1. Ensure Measurement Accuracy:

        • Connect the upstream end of the flowmeter first.
        • The upstream straight pipe section should meet a minimum requirement of 10DN.
        • The downstream straight pipe section should meet a minimum requirement of 5DN.
      2. Sealing Material:

        • Do not allow sealing material to penetrate into the pipe during installation.
      3. Connect Power Cable:

        • Pay attention to the wiring polarity.
        • Ensure the input DC voltage is between 8-24 VDC.
      4. Signal Line Connection:

        • If needed, connect the signal line to the corresponding user interface correctly.
    • Note: Ensure the airflow direction is consistent with the sensor’s airflow indication direction. Once the sensor lead line is connected correctly, turn on the power supply to start operation.

Installation Notes

  1. Pipe Cleanliness:

    • Clear impurities from the pipe before installation to avoid damage to the flowmeter. The inner wall of the pipe should be clean and free of scale.
  2. Fixed Parts:

    • Do not release the fixed parts of the flowmeter arbitrarily.
  3. Installation Stress:

    • Ensure no installation stress is applied to the flowmeter to prevent damage.
  4. Environmental Conditions:

    • Avoid strong magnetic field interference and violent vibration environments.
  5. Stable Medium Flow:

    • Ensure stable medium flow. Operate the valve slowly; do not rush to open or close it.
