In other words, these manufacturers must be directly involved in the production of automobiles and can carry out processing and manufacturing activities. At the same time, there are also strict qualifications for the qualifications of certified company manufacturers, those that only have support functions, such as design centers, corporate headquarters, distribution centers, etc., or those who manufacture equipment and tools for vehicle manufacturers or auto parts manufacturers. Manufacturers cannot obtain certification. The management of the ISO/TS16949:2009 certification is performed by the five oversight bodies on behalf of the IATF. They use the same procedural methods to oversee the operation and implementation of the ISO/TS16949 specification to form a standard and operational integrity throughout the world. system.
